Silly Me!

I had a good laugh on myself today! I popped into Shaw's to pick up a "few" groceries and since my "few" groceries turned into $34, on the way out of the store, I was studiously studying my saleslip to see if the register had made a mistake!! I was so engrossed with what I was doing, that I ran my shopping cart straight into the non- Exit door--WHAM! I quickly looked around, hoping no one was behind me to witness my stupidity! No such luck for there was not just one lady behind me, laughing her head off, but two! One said, "And there were two of us to witness this!" while the closer one was laughing so hard that I quickly joined her and thanked her for sharing the humor of my stupidity!

We laughed our way out to the parking lot where she stated that now she had to find her car. "Well, I at least know where mine is this time," I replied! Believe it or not, there are quite a few times when I can't say that! A few moments later, she came walking by my car and I thought what a funny coincidence it would be if she were parked next to me. But no, she was still looking for her missing wheels. Hope she found them, but I'm thankful for humor and for people who can laugh--at themselves and good humoredly even at others! It truly lifted my spirits.
