I Am Thankful For:
>Fairwood in the summer--a ghost town right now! Kind of strange. . .
>Dublin lake 1 mile away to hop into on hot, sticky days
>Friends to get together with (N. Brown this week)
>Andy Griffith shows, esp. Don Knotts
>SU! For those of you in the dark that's Stampin' Up--a fantastic company which I've been involved with for about 5 years now as a demonstrator. Each July the new Idea book and catalog comes out and there are so many new ideas/products to try. I'm still salivating!
>Fresh innovative salads!
>New piano at Fairview--purchased with fear and trembling as to its quality and after tuning, pronounced by the technician worth $_,_ _ _! We paid way, way, way less than that! Hooray!
>New hardpack on the driveway in front of Hansens. Now, instead of washed out ruts, there is firm, "smooth," hard-packed gravel for a few feet.
>My palm pilot, gift from my husbad (who unexpectedly received both bids on e-bay!) and perfect for playing scrabble in all kinds of places (church?) Just kidding
>My sister J and her husband B who most faithfully come to spend time with my mother so I can get a solid break
>Up-coming weekend with my sisters. I figure if the Carpenter and the I. Sandford girls can do this , why not the D. Streets?
>My garden weeded (for a minute anyway! Seems to be more grass in it than plants most of the time. . .)

Ah, yes, the new SU catalog. I am still salivating as well! What fun to just spend time looking it over and getting new ideas! And, making a mile long wish list.
Isn't it great to have a long list of things to be thankful for.

Lots of great things to be thankful for! I'm thankful for some of them, too...like Fairwood in the summer, Dublin Lake, innovative salads (I get the benefit of those), and hardpack in front of the Hansens.
Just to clarify...you got together with Nancy B, not Nate B, correct? :-)

Yeah, I was thinking Nate Brown, too! Wow, I didn't realize my mom was so close to Nate . . . Then the "Nancy" thought hit me.
