This and That
I'm gradually coming back to life as God's healing takes place in my heart. . .
There was a super glorious sunrise this morning here in NH and unbelievably warm weather for New England.
We now have candles in our windows for the holidays and our icicle lights up. It's getting harder and harder to string the lights on the arborvitae. They grow another foot or so each year. . .but we shall prevail or rather I shall try to prevail tomorrow!
Sitting here at the computer I suddenly heard the niggling, tell-tale sounds of a nibbling mouse. Oh no! After serious trapping a few weeks back, and a bunch of culprits caught, the traps have remained empty for days, so what is this all about? I pushed back my chair, fell to my hands and knees, then flat on my stomach to peer under the computer, behind the computer desk and all around, thinking to myself, "where are you little mouse?" Wouldn't you know it, just then in walked N., startled to see me in such a position. But that did the trick. The nibbling stopped.
If you want to alleviate unpleasant or questionable odors in your apartment or house, I recommend buying a Yankee candle gel car freshener, and not just any scent but clean cotton! It has the most delightful smell of, you guessed it, clean cotton! and covers up most questionable odors--pets, babies, adults, dead mice (like in our bathroom!) etc. or just that smell that is you! Because have you ever noticed that every home has its own peculiar smell? and you (and I) add to it? I'd rather have people smell clean cotton than other things.
You can see why I titled this "This and That" can't you? I'm off to create some Christmas Cards to sell so I can buy some more stuff to put in my stamping room.
