A Couple of Random Things
Yesterday I heard something on the radio that was one of those reporting "bloopers." It went like this. "A Rhode Island man has confessed to killing and dismembering three women today in court." What??? How was he ever allowed to do that in the court room in front of the judge!!! Whew! Good thing we don't believe everything we hear!
Often, as I'm shampooing my Mother's hair, I make a little joke with her as I lather and scrub her scalp. I say something like, "Gotta get all those cooties!" Today, she replied, "Send 'em scampering!" Nice to have a moment of humor along with being questioned repeatedly as to the color of Neil's skin!

Most every time I'm with Mom, I tell her that Neil's white. Or I tell her that he does have colored blood--it's red! not black. It makes not difference. Either way, she's forgotten in about 5 seconds flat.
