Earthly tent vs. Eternal house

My dear precious friend, Jan Hansen has gone Home! Over the past couple of weeks my heart has been filled with the truth of 2 Corinthians 5:1. "For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

The tearing down of her earthly tent was so apparent, so vividly real each time I saw her and yet God revealed to me something totally invisible to human eyes. It was almost as if I could see the new Jan and the greatness, the solidity, the enormity of her new house which was steadily growing stronger and larger and more real, as her earthly tent grew weaker and weaker. Wow! What a picture! And what we all as believers in Jesus have to anticipate!
