Gorge Yourself on Chocolate Chip Cookies II!

I hope you enjoyed that last post! I'm so ignorant that I posted it before I wrote it !! He! he! Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy? Boom, boom, ain't it great to be crazy! That's me.

Now back to the cookies. During the past week down on the cookie box at Fairwood, a little note was pasted. "Two cookies apiece per person per day." The note was meant to make the "special" cookies last a bit longer, I know, but I get kind of tired of that type of thing. Especially since the cookies in that box most of this year have been ones that have sat there day after day after day, begging someone to come and eat them. Soooo, I made up my mind that I'd make a good old batch of Mrs. Field's chocolate chip cookies for the Bible School, and put them down there with a sign something like "Eat away to your sweet hearts' content."

So that's exactly what I did. Two giant, grated Hershey's chocolate bars, nearly four bags of chocolate chips, 4 cups of real butter, 4 cups of brown sugar, 4 cups of white sugar, you get the picture. Sugar and fat galore. Baked them up on my pampered chef baking stones (what else?) and had Neil cart them down for all the gluttons to devour as fast as they wish. I bet they last almost as long as if there was a little sign on the box doling them out two/day! Of course it helps that a particular Brown relative is away for a few days. Maybe they'll even last until said individual returns! Actually, Clyde ate quite a few in cookie dough while I was baking them and had Craig been home, well, there would have been maybe a dozen less. Now you know a few of the family secrets. Yum, yum!
